WAXING

  • A Bikini wax removes only the hair outside the swimsuit line. A Brazilian removes all of the hair on the labia and anus. The remaining hair is customized (i.e., landing strip, triangle or bare). A Modified Brazilian removes the hair up to, but not including the labia; this leaves a wide strip of hair all the way down. Removing the hair on the anus is optional.

  • Yes. We pride ourselves on giving as painless of wax as possible. To ensure this, we use mostly hard wax. Hard wax is less painful, because it only pulls the hair and not the skin. Our Estheticians are veteran waxers and have won awards for their Brazilian waxing.

  • Most importantly, you need a minimum of 4 weeks of outgrowth for a successful wax. No tanning 24 hours beforehand. Give yourself an exfoliation in the area before, ideally with a sugar scrub. Heeding the above recommendations will ensure the best possible wax.

  • This is our favorite part! We wax according to each client's hair growth stages, so there isn't one general answer. The great part is, with the program we use, you will be coming back less and less often, as you will have less and less hair. We can't give away all our secrets online, but we'll tell you all about it during your appointment.

  • Avoid the week before your cycle begins; this is the time when you are most sensitive. Take two ibuprofen about an hour before your wax; this will minimize pain. Keep in mind that waxing gets easier with time. Every time you wax, your hair will grow back finer and more sparse. Prone to ingrown hairs or bumps? Don't worry, we've got you covered; ask your waxer for details.

  • Everyone’s experience after waxing is different. That said, most have little to no irritation or discomfort immediately after the wax. Some will stay a bit pink for a few hours to a day or two. You will want to avoid a few things for the first 12-24hrs, though. NO tanning, NO creams or lotions, NO excessive sweating, and NO submersion of the waxed areas in water.

microneedling

  • Redness and swelling is typical following this facial, which will diminish within 24-48 hours.

Less is more. Avoid any makeup, sweating, pools, saunas and intense workouts for 24-48 hours.

Avoid any skincare for the first 12 hours. Getting antsy? Splash your skin with cool water and pat dry. After 12-24 hours you can use a gentle cleaner, hydrating toner, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer and SPF.

Keep it simple. Avoid exfoliants, retinols, AHA/BHAs and Vitamin C for 1 week following your treatment.

microblading

  • Less is more. Keep your brows dry for 48 hours following your microblading appointment. If you experience mild bleeding or fluid from the area, pat dry with clean cotton or paper towel. Your brows have been covered with Cavilion cream as protection for the first 48 hours.

Do not apply any other skincare product or makeup to the brow area for 14 days following your microblading. Do not workout or allow sweat or dirt to accumulate on the newly microbladed area, this can change the pigment of your brows. In the event you experience sweating, cleanse and apply ointment promptly.

Wash your brows for the first time 48 hours following your initial appointment with the cleanser provided in your kit. Repeat cleansing morning and night, applying only a small amount of water to your brows. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Balm baby balm! Gently apply the provided ointment to your brows 3-5x daily for at least the next 10 days.

brow lamination

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Keeping your brows nourished after your lamination will result in fuller, healthier looking brows. Remember to apply your provided serum (castor oil) every night for at least the first week following your treatment.

Your spooly is your new BFF! Brushing your brows up on the regular is essential! They may look a bit flat time to time, especially upon waking up, but taking your new BFF to brush the up will result in immediate fluff, adding longevity to your lamination. Do not let your brows dry downward, keep ‘em up, up, up!

Avoid getting your brows wet for 24 hours after your appointment. This includes sweating, sauna time, swimming, etc. Any excess moisture can cause a slight curl or frizz, resulting in a less than awesome lamination.

lash lifts

  • Stay cool! For the first 24 hours, avoid getting your lashes wet or exposing them to extreme heat (including cooking). Don’t apply mascara or any serums to your lashes following your service as they may take up to 24 hours to fully set.

Your spooly is your new BFF! Gently brush your lashes several times a day following your appointment to encourage the curl to stay.

Keep ‘em dry! Do not use oil based eye products, creams, cleansers or makeup removers for at least 48 hours following your appointment, as they may not have yet fully set. Keep them clean and dry!
